Sandi + 1 {portrait}
June 21st, 2010Can you believe this is #4 for this hottie mama? Sandi is a fantastic person with the most darling little ones ever. I can’t wait to meet (and photograph!) the new one who will be here any day.

Laura & Joe {wedding}June 15th, 2010I recently learned from my local meteorologist that June is the rainiest month in Minnesota. A good fact to know when you are a wedding photographer but there isn’t much you can do about it. We had a good stretch of rain for Laura and Joe’s wedding day, but because EyeSpy Brides are a tough bunch, a little rain didn’t hurt us, especially when you are as good looking as the new Mr. and Mrs.
Laura & Joe {peek}June 13th, 2010More of this gorgeous duo later in the week.
Camera Day 2010June 7th, 2010OMG, I can’t even believe that Camera Day was 1 month ago! It was such an amazing time for me and Jenn! We met some fantastic new friends, shared what we knew and learned even more than we expected! A huge thank you to the attendees; Laura, Jeff, Krissy, Becky, Tricia, Jake, Beth, Lauren, and Eve. Jenn and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you with your photography and we know we will be seeing more of all of you in the photography world!! Tons of thanks goes out to Jackie, of Just Bloomed, who did some great flowers for the shoot, Dustin & Laura and Jennifer & Donny, our fabulous models, and we can’t forget Chef Tyge and Baja Sol who created some fantastic food for us!
Rachel’s Senior SessionMay 31st, 2010Rachel is an awesome girl. Totally laid back and chill. And super gorgeous. We hit up downtown Minneapolis and the Sculpture Garden for her senior shoot.
Emily & Dan {trashed}May 28th, 2010The day after the wedding the bride, groom and myself headed down to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to get a little crazy. It was a roaring good time! I am loving dress trashing sessions more and more. No worries about dirt, grass, or a little stinky wading pond with a giant cherry perched over it. (And she wore a posh|rebel veil!) L.O.V.E. these!
Emily & Dan {wedding}May 23rd, 2010A glorious wedding at Church of the Assumption and a 1st class reception at James J. Hill Library, starring 2 wonderfully refreshing people, Emily and Dan. Loved them to bits. So relaxed, so welcoming. (move back to MN please?!?!) Flowers by the awesome La Petite Fleur.
Emily & Dan {peek}May 17th, 2010I had a really fantastic wedding this past weekend, tons of fun and shooting. We started at the rehearsal dinner on Friday and ended with a Trash the Dress shoot on Sunday. As I was downloading and backing up images, this one stuck out and begged to be blogged…
Erin & Jeremy {trashed}May 12th, 2010These types of shoots may be my most favorite part of the wedding…the part where we get down and dirty and shake our proverbial middle finger at the structure and tradition that an average wedding can be. We started the shoot on the beach looking for a specific stretch of sand that seemed mythical, full of wild cows and parrots. We never found that beach but we did find a whole lot of ass-kicking photos. Enjoy!
Erin & Jeremy {wedding}, part 2May 11th, 2010After the wedding, all of the guests were taken to a different beach on the Atlantic to embark on one of the coolest receptions you could ever be a part of, an ocean cruise on a katamaran. And, yes, “I’m on a Boat” was the theme song of the night.
