Shooting another photographer’s wedding can be a little intimidating, they know all of the same skills and tricks. Anne is a photographer and I was shooting her wedding. I was a little nervous because I wanted to make sure Anne would love her photos as a client and a photographer. What made my job a little easier is the fact that Anne is gorgeous. Seriously. Add in Travis to the photography equation and you have one good-looking couple. I also had some 2nd shooting help from the wonderful Laura of BeeTour Photography.

The wedding took place at St. Peter’s Church in Forest Lake and the reception went down at Tanners Brook Golf Course. Because Anne has a photography background, she knew how important it was to have awesome photos. She had tons of ideas for getting ready pictures and great location ideas throughout the day. It really made a difference in how the day flowed…nice and easy. Let’s see some pictures!

I got home a little earlier than usual from today’s wedding and as I was backing up my images, I came across this little gem and had to post it as a sneak peek. More from this wedding next week!

A perfect day for a June wedding is what Abby and Jason had for their nuptials this weekend. Just perfect. I did not have a chance to meet Abby or Jason prior to the big day and let me tell you want a huge relief it was when I found out how absolutely cool they were. Wheeeew! They were both so fun and sassy, I love sassy people! Plus, their families and friends were just as amazing as they were.

The big day went down at Father Hennepin Bluffs Park and the reception was just across the street at the St. Anthony Main Event Center. The flowers were by Petals, Sprigs & Twigs, who does fabulous work. And check out that yummy cake… What a great way to start the wedding season!!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of cuties on this warm spring day. Miss Presley just turned 3 and Brayden is a chunky little 6 month old. In addition to be adorably cute, they both were totally sweet and full of personality. I had a great time spending the morning with the family and almost getting run over by Presley in her birthday present–an F150 Power Wheel. She actually had some fantastic driving skills for a 3 year old…

Being published was always a goal of mine. Just to see the images I captured in print for all to see is very exciting. When Real Weddings Australia contacted me to feature one of my weddings I thought it was a joke. Australia? Really? Yeah right! I emailed the photo editor back not expecting anything and what do you know…they were for real!!
