Blooms and Ice
Thursday, January 22nd, 2009I am not a landscape photographer by any means. It looks simple enough, but I am too impatient to set up shots like that. This morning, I was heading to Minneapolis to shoot some flowers and I was totally distracted by the pretty frost in the trees. I knew that now was my only chance to get some good shots before the frost melted so I did some quick stunt driving and breaking, got off the highway and found a great field.
My tricky vehicle manuvers paid off because I am totally digging these 2 shots. Look what a little patience and frost can get you!
And the main reason I was out and about today was because I did some shots at Koehler and Dramm, the local florist wholesaler. What a cool place! Everyone was super nice and I saw some really exotic blooms that I had never seen before. And the color!! Everywhere!
Spring is just around the corner…right?
