2 weeks ago I received a phone call from Sandi, a client of mine who has the 2 cutest little munchkins. Well, Sandi was calling me from her hospital bed just after having her third baby. I couldn’t believe that she would be thinking about new baby photos that soon after giving birth! I also felt all squishy inside because she was so happy with all of the other photos I had taken of David and Lia that she wanted to make sure I was ready to meet Maggie right after they came home.

In addition to taking Maggie’s 2 weeks pictures, we did some of the family and of big brother and big sister. It is so fun to see how these kids are growing and changing. I first met Sandi, Tim, and David when David was about 18 months old. Then Lia came, and now Maggie. I am so lucky to see this family grow!

This kid is an absolute rockstar. He loves his dogs, eating, outside, and of course his mommy and daddy. I can’t believe he is 1/4 of a year old. He is gonna be swearing and sneaking out of the house in no time!

Whew! I am pooped. Saturday was my first wedding since having the baby. It was also my first wedding in since 2006 that I shot while not pregnant. Dang, how did I do this all last year with a nine pound baby in my tummy??

Well, Luca spent the day with Gramma while Mom finally got back to work!! And I was so pumped that I had a hard time sleeping the night before. But the weather cooperated and it wasn’t too chilly and what made everything so much easier, was that I had a super hot bride and groom to take pictures of all day. Score!

The wedding took place at Hamline United Methodist Church in St. Paul and the reception was at the gorgeous Union Depot.

Beth was so laid back and relaxed, you would never have known she was about to get married, aside from the wedding dress…

We went to Rice Park for some wedding party shots and to get some more of just the couple. We had a decent amount of time to play with before we had to be at the reception. Everyone in the wedding party was so incredibly nice and basically did whatever I told them to do, which I like.

My birthday was last week. And with as busy as I have been with work and Little Luca I forgot to mention it. No, I am not looking for belated birthday presents , but I found an old picture of me taken at the same age that Luca is now. It made me feel all sentimental and sappy (and old!) being that I am a mom now.

But I did have a nice and relaxed day. Matty got me a massage at my favorite salon, some cookie sheets and baking supplies to which he and Luca have requested more cookie making, and I got a new tattoo! My family came over to partake in some pizza and cake devouring. Then we played a little Guitar Hero ( I rule!). It wasn’t a late night or anything crazy due to the fact that poor little Luca had pink eye and was quite crabby.

I didn’t take any pictures of the evening because I refuse to work on my birthday, but here is that photo of baby Stephany, who was pretty damn cute back in the day.

There will be funky backgrounds and cool furniture to add some spice to your images. The special price only applies to the designated days, and seniors and engagements are not included. If you refer a friend, $20 will be taken off of your session!

All you have to do is call me to book your mini session and make the drive to Stillwater and I will hook you up with unique and fresh photos to show off! The dates are:
