Breanna’s Senior Photos

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

I shot another super fun senior session a couple of weeks ago, this time it was the lovely Breanna and we did downtown Stillwater again, but found new places that I hadn’t shot at yet. I have known Breanna’s mom for some time now and the 3 of us had a jolly good time while we played around in Stillwater. Mainly, we tried to make Miss Breanna laugh while she was being serious for me. She told me right away that she did NOT have a good serious face…her mom and I thought she had an excellent serious face and did our best to get her to giggle. :)

On to the photos!

Her is one of her serious poses…I will only show one because I love her smiling ones too much

Michelle and Connor

Monday, November 19th, 2007

Last week I got to spend some time with Michelle and Connor for a little photo extravaganza. Michelle and Connor have been married for 4 years and haven’t had any photos taken of just the 2 of them for quite some time, so we met up in downtown Afton to see the sights and get some of those long over-due photos taken. Enjoy!

We started off nice and slow…

Holiday Ordering

Monday, November 12th, 2007

Hello Clients!

It is getting to be that time of year and if you want to order prints or holiday cards and actually get them before Christmas rolls around, now is the time to do so! The deadline is November 30th, 2007, so shoot me an email and let me know what you are interested in getting printed! Anything ordered AFTER November 30th will be ready in 2008.

*Any prints ordered thru eyespy (this DOES NOT include orders made thru Pictage) will be color corrected to perfection and look absolutely fabulous. Wedding prints for family members make excellent and easy Christmas gifts!

*Press printed flat and folded cards will be custom designed for each client. And they come with envelopes! You can even get my favorite sparkly “pearl” paper, Yeehaw!

Jeri and Justin

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

The same weekend I shot Allison’s senior photos, I spent a few hours with the most lovely couple, Jeri and Justin. They are getting married next July and I have the pleasure of being their wedding photographer as well as engagement photographer. These 2 are so sweet and so in love, its adorable. But aside from that, the thing that really struck me about them was when they came over for a consultation, they were loving up Spyder and Murphy. Well, make that more Justin than Jeri. Justin was letting Spyder lick his face, goatee, forehead, everything!! (sometimes I don’t even let her do that!) and Jeri and I just sat back and watched the show. It was pretty funny. And the fact that Jeri wasn’t grossed out by Justin’s antics proves they are SO in love!

We headed over to Aamodt’s Apple Orchard in Stillwater on another chilly and sprinkly day. But the weather was on our side and we got some really fun stuff. Here ya go…

In the orchard:

There was a little John Deere mini bike area for little kiddies to play on, we totally kicked the kids off and started rumblin…kidding!

No crashing, only kissing

Justin has sweet ninja moves, Jeri was very impressed.

Allison

Friday, November 2nd, 2007

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Allison, who wanted some senior photos. She is good friends with Jenna, who’s senior photos I shot a couple of months ago. Allison is from Canada but has been living in the US for years. Apparently, they don’t do “senior photos” in Canada, so Alli and her mom really didn’t know what to expect. It was a windy and chilly October day but I think the shots we got are pretty awesome despite the cruddy weather…

She was such a smiley girl, but I think this moody face is most excellent

These last 3 are my total favorites!

Halloween!!

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

Halloween is my most favorite holiday EVER. I always loved getting all decked out and scoring tons of treats. The creepier the costume, the better. I will admit, since I am too old to trick or treat, its not quite as fun, but I still love it. This year, my sister Christyn spent Halloween at my house and brought Tyler to chill with Matt and I. Now, Tyler came dressed up as his favorite animal, a dog. He did his best dog impersonation too, “woof”. He is only 1, but I tried to get Christyn to take him around the neighborhood and get some treats for himself. Apparently, 1 year olds shouldn’t be eating candy just yet. I explained to her that I would help the little guy out and eat some treats for him, but I lost. :(

Cutest!

And of course, Spyder and Murphy got dressed up for my favorite holiday as they do each year. Last year they were bats. The year before, they were ghosts. This year, I decided to dress them up as gangsta rappers. Think Snoop Dogg or Dr. Dre. They had on their wifebeaters and had a nice collection of “bling”. And this year, they actually liked their costumes. Usually they get freaked out but this year was their year…they would come up to the door and show off to the kids. It was great!

They are best buddies, Murphy licked off Tyler’s nose about 4 times thru out the night…

And yes, Matty and I had costumes for handing out candy. I spent a little more time on mine than Matt, all he had to do was put on a mask. I tried to look like a scary-dead-goth-chick with spiders in my hair. By far, the eyelashes were the best part. Or was it the rat I taped to my shoulder?? You be the judge. :)

Yes, I know, we are total geeks.

Anyways, I am done shooting weddings for the rest of the year, but I still have proofs and albums to catch up on. I also have some shoots that I haven’t blogged yet, so keep checking back and you can see some good stuff. Even though I am done with weddings for the year, that doesn’t mean I won’t keep updating the blog. So don’t think I am done working for the year, I still have shoots coming up and tons of life-changing personal updates that you may be interested in!! Don’t forget about eyespy, I will still be here working, so stop back and leave some comments so I know that you are still out there reading!!
