This weekend, Shelley and I headed up about an hour north of Stillwater to the Frederic/Danbury, WI area. I hadn’t really been in that area for any period of time, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Maybe some trees? May I say, that we were pleasantly surprised.
We started off meeting Mackenzie, Andrew and their family and friends at Seven Pines Lodge in Frederic. What a cool place! The main lodge has a sticker in the window bragging that it is in the book “1000 Places to See Before You Die” (so I crossed that off of my list!). Its a great property that has several rustic, old and some newer cabins, a trout stream and a yummy pine-fresh smell. The cabins have so much history and personality, some have beds that hang from the ceiling! Anyways, we find Mackenzie in her cabin and this is what I see…Let me tell you, I am pumped!!!

And check these sweet Stuart Weitzman shoes:

We got some great shots of the couple hanging out around Seven Pines:

Mackenzie’s dad owns this fantastic Bronco:

My super fav:

Then we drove up to Fort Folle Avione Historic Park for a great outdoor ceremony right before the sprinkles came rolling in.

A hug from dad after the ceremony…

All of the guests snacked on chocolate covered strawberries and colorful flower cookies while the maid of honor and best man gave the couple champagne toasts…

The flower cookies matched the brides bouquet perfectly. Look at these great blooms!

After dinner, dancing and mingling! I adore the lighting in this shot:

Congrats to the happy couple! And thanks to you and your families for being SO sweet!
