Merry Everything!Thursday, December 24th, 2009I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday season and a great new year! I will be taking a few days off to stuff my face and hang with the family. (But don’t forget that the winner of the giveaway will be announced tomorrow…) Here is how we celebrate at the EyeSpy digs…we decorate dogs. Merry Christmas!
LolaFriday, December 4th, 2009(Insert your favorite “Lola” song here…) Cute puppy alert! Meet little girl Lola, an adorable 7 week old bulldog. She has the sweetest little sausage legs, a stumpy tail and some fantastic markings. I would have stolen her after the shoot, but the thought of 4 dogs at home scared me straight. YIKES. Happy Friday!
I know you are sick of the snow, but…Thursday, February 26th, 2009Spyder’s turnMonday, August 18th, 2008Miss Spyder has turned 6. She is probably the best dog that has ever lived. She is a person trapped in a Wirehair’s body. She hates strawberries. She loves to kiss Luca. She is the reason EyeSpy is called EyeSpy. She always calls shotgun. She is the home protector. And she always sleeps in the crook of my arm when its bedtime. I tried a few different times to get some creative and funky pictures of Spy for her birthday post so you could see what an absolute doll she is. But she needs a bath and is kinda stinky and her hair is a little flat. And she was is no mood to model on her birthday. All she wanted to do was lay on the couch. So I let her, its her birthday for cryin’ out loud!! So here are a few pics from the little Duluth trip we took a few days ago. Spyder is wet and foamy from keeping all seagulls away from our little stretch of beach but she wouldn’t have it any other way. Kisses Spy! Happy Birthday Murphy!!!!Sunday, August 10th, 2008My furriest little pup is 5 years old today. When we got him, he weighed 12 pounds. He is now 75. He is so sweet and smart and I love his super furry face, even when it gets tons of burrs. And as a pre-birthday treat, I let him chase turkeys in the backyard yesterday. Murphy, you are the best boy ever!!! Frank the TankSunday, June 15th, 2008Special!Monday, April 7th, 2008How long has it been since you have had your kids photos taken? Bad BloggerSaturday, January 5th, 2008Yes, the title says it all, I have been a bad blogger. And I really do feel bad, but in a few weeks, there will be some good juicy stuff coming your way. You know what I found out today? My website company, Webaloo, sends me monthly stats of what is going on with the website. Most of the info they send makes no sense to me at all, but what I did notice today was this very website is just shy of 100,000 hits. That seems like a lot for just being a one-girl show!! I knew some people checked my site but wow, I am kind of excited. And that is why I am feeling bad for not being a good updater. So now that I know people are out there and checking in on me and eyespy, I have some bits of info to share. First off, Christmas and New Year’s came, and I know alot of people get engaged over the holidays. So congrats to you newly engaged couples, and give me a call if you a looking for a wedding photographer! 2008 is booking up! Spyder and Murphy had a good Christmas too. Santa was good to them and they got new collars and a squeaky monkey. The squeak in the monkey lasted about 2 days before Murphy pulled it out. But their collars are pretty sweet. Murphy is sporting some eyespy-orange and blue and Miss Spyder is in pink and green. Santa thought that she needed to wear pink since she is commonly mistaken for a boy. I snapped a few pics of them laying on the couch as I type, what a bunch of bums. And look at this, Murphy can barely keep his eyes open. Another fun thing that has happened over the past couple of days is I finally got my new computer!!!! I am so excited!! Now, I have all winter to learn how to be awesome on a Mac. I haven’t taken it out of the box yet, but that is just because I don’t have my office completely ready to make the transition yet. But it sure was pretty in the store. I don’t have another wedding until April, I am taking it easy with shooting this winter and spring, but I am planning on taking a class or two before wedding season is back in full spring. I try to go to a seminar at least once a year to keep the fresh ideas coming and learning from wedding photographers that I love. Last year, I went to Cabo San Lucas (rough, I know!) to go to a seminar and meet some of my favorite California wedding photographers. I see being set in your ways as a bad thing when it comes to photography…how boring is that? I love to see things from new angles and different points of view, that way I can add to what I already know and keep being funky and fresh! Halloween!!Thursday, November 1st, 2007Halloween is my most favorite holiday EVER. I always loved getting all decked out and scoring tons of treats. The creepier the costume, the better. I will admit, since I am too old to trick or treat, its not quite as fun, but I still love it. This year, my sister Christyn spent Halloween at my house and brought Tyler to chill with Matt and I. Now, Tyler came dressed up as his favorite animal, a dog. He did his best dog impersonation too, “woof”. He is only 1, but I tried to get Christyn to take him around the neighborhood and get some treats for himself. Apparently, 1 year olds shouldn’t be eating candy just yet. I explained to her that I would help the little guy out and eat some treats for him, but I lost. And of course, Spyder and Murphy got dressed up for my favorite holiday as they do each year. Last year they were bats. The year before, they were ghosts. This year, I decided to dress them up as gangsta rappers. Think Snoop Dogg or Dr. Dre. They had on their wifebeaters and had a nice collection of “bling”. And this year, they actually liked their costumes. Usually they get freaked out but this year was their year…they would come up to the door and show off to the kids. It was great! They are best buddies, Murphy licked off Tyler’s nose about 4 times thru out the night… And yes, Matty and I had costumes for handing out candy. I spent a little more time on mine than Matt, all he had to do was put on a mask. I tried to look like a scary-dead-goth-chick with spiders in my hair. By far, the eyelashes were the best part. Or was it the rat I taped to my shoulder?? You be the judge. Yes, I know, we are total geeks. Anyways, I am done shooting weddings for the rest of the year, but I still have proofs and albums to catch up on. I also have some shoots that I haven’t blogged yet, so keep checking back and you can see some good stuff. Even though I am done with weddings for the year, that doesn’t mean I won’t keep updating the blog. So don’t think I am done working for the year, I still have shoots coming up and tons of life-changing personal updates that you may be interested in!! Don’t forget about eyespy, I will still be here working, so stop back and leave some comments so I know that you are still out there reading!! |
