Another glorious farm wedding, but this time, it took place in Willmar at both the bride and groom’s properties. The wedding took place at Chris’s parents home with the reception happening at Kalie’s parent’s home a short drive away. It was a very personal and happy day for everyone. The bride wore a lovely Marisa gown and wore a sweet Posh|Rebel veil for the reception. Tons of vintage treasures were sprinkled throughout the day. A live band set up in the barn so the guests could rock out in the summer night.

Sean contacted me months ago about surprising his bride of 10 years with a super fun/ass kickin’ photoshoot. Their wedding photographs were less than stellar and he wanted some great portraits of the 2 of them. He coordinated their original wedding party to come out and play for a few shots as well!

Jamie and Hannibal were married in Cannon Falls at Jamie’s family’s farm. It was a warm and intimate affair hidden on a sprawling farm. A wonderful organic dinner included grass-fed beef kabobs, wild rice burgers and grilled fruit. Jamie did all of the flower arrangements and her mom made her wedding dress.

And I am pretty excited to share that this is my first all-film wedding. It was so refreshing and fun to shoot, I can’t wait to shoot more film weddings!

This is another instance when creative people plan a wedding. Great locations, AMAZING dress and shoes, great design elements everywhere, mini burger and mashed potato stations, homemade jam, and a hot summer day. Put that together and you make everyone at the wedding fall in love. And the best part about it? Jess and Matt are in love and are a perfect fit.

The ceremony happened at Raspberry Island, with the reception right next door at the Minnesota Boat Club. The invites were a custom collaboration between Jess and her sister. Flowers by Martha’s Floral.

An unusually hot and humid day in Duluth didn’t stop Lisa and Bully from having an unbelievably awesome event with their amazing friends. Add a little polka band, a non-stop photo booth (created by the groom), the always gorgeous city of Duluth, cute details and 2 wonderful people (Lisa & Bully) and you get this:

I had an exciting surprise this morning…a happy little email from Style Me Pretty letting me know they were going to be featuring Krista and Nate’s sweet barn wedding on their blog today. Many thanks to Abby at Style Me Pretty and to Krista and Nate for having such a lovely affair!

Krista and Nate were married at a quaint private residence/farm in Owatonna. The scene was set with corn, barns and love. A fantastic day for some fantastic people.

I recently learned from my local meteorologist that June is the rainiest month in Minnesota. A good fact to know when you are a wedding photographer but there isn’t much you can do about it. We had a good stretch of rain for Laura and Joe’s wedding day, but because EyeSpy Brides are a tough bunch, a little rain didn’t hurt us, especially when you are as good looking as the new Mr. and Mrs.
